Instagram is a wonderful tool to learn, share, explore, and be inspired. Whether you are a new grad, a mid-career changer, or a retiree, there is plenty of practical career advice on Instagram (if you know where to look!).
The Muse offers advice on changing careers, succeeding at work, and structuring a successful job search, as well as providing productivity, stress management, and self-care tips. What I most love about The Muse are their topical postings such as anti-racist actions to take at work and tips working from home with kids during COVID 19.
I've long been a fan of The Vault and recommend their industry guides often to help people research careers of interest in-depth. Vault's instagram also features advice I don't see in many other places, such as tips for avoiding loneliness while working from home, tips for persuasive communication, and workday playlists recommendations!
Career Contessa is focused on career development for women, and I find their posts informative and easy to read, such as "4 ways to manage up," and I appreciate their profiling of successful women and humorous (and relatable!) musings on current events and culture.
